2013 TPIA CPE Seminar
The featured speaker for this year's seminar is SSA Robert Kosky with the FBI. He will be speaking about what a crime scene says about the person who committed the crime. SSA Kosky was with the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) for many years before being assigned to the Knoxville area. The television series, "Criminal Minds" is based on SSA Kosky. Additionally this year, TPIA will be awarding the first annual "TPIA Investigator of the Year" award to Mr. Ron Lax. Mr. Lax is the private investigator who uncovered evidence that freed the "West Memphis 3". Currently, there is a movie being produced about Mr. Lax's work on the case.
