We will have a speaker at the July Meeting Chris Treece
Chris was born and raised in rural East Tennessee, then moved with his family to Middle Tennessee the summer prior to his senior year of high school. At an early age, he was introduced to a variety of sports and he absolutely fell in love. However, he was told that he was too small to play the one sport he excelled at, football. At one point, his mother would not allow him to play, but he somehow found his way to the field and had a terrific career. In high school, he received All-State and All-America honors and was inducted into the Murfreesboro Oakland High School Hall of Fame in 2000. Chris attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville on an athletic scholarship where he was a member of the varsity football team under Head Coach Johnny Majors as a hard-nosed defensive back wearing the number 38. One of his greatest memories of playing at UT was running through the storied "T" on game day in front of more than 98,000 loyal fans. Today, Chris is the Founder and CEO of The Treece Advantage Football Combines, a new, cutting-edge series of elite combines and camps for teenage athletes that are serious about getting on track to be recruited and want to improve their position-based skills. The combines test drills that are typical of other combines and what college coaches expect to see. They also feature 7 on 7 tournaments and are run by a highly talented coaching staff, all of whom boast some of the most respected names and coaching experience in the industry. Our coaches have played Division 1 football and understand what is required to be granted and then maintain scholarship status. As part of the Treece Advantage and upon request, Chris also holds Coaches Clinics for any or all member(s) of a high school’s coaching staff. At this time, these 2-day events will be held in Middle Tennessee, East Tennessee, South Carolina and Illinois.
Chris is also the author of two best selling books, "Driven" and “Vols For Life”, and has become one of the fastest-rising and most dynamic motivational speakers in the country. He is sought by companies and schools to engage, motivate, encourage and empower their respective employees and students.
Chris resides in Knoxville, TN with his wife, Karen, and has four children, Brytnee, Torre, Jasten and Luke.
